About "The Barn"

Owners, John T. (Tommy) and Linda F. McGuire, are excited to announce the opening of their timber frame special event center. The McGuire farm has a history of providing services to the people of the community.

Still standing near the entrance of the farm is the old McGuire country store.  Members of our older generation can recall memories of John Jacob McGuire (Tommy’s grandfather) and how he helped provide food to the local people during the Great Depression. 

Millstones in the creek are evidence of a grist mill from days gone by. The millrace, which was hand dug, runs the length of the farm and gives the name to the property. The old McGuire homestead still stands with Civil War heritage, and the McGuire's have hope of salvaging the dwelling.
